One last thing, Make sure to use the " OSD " on the monitor to check that it is at " Factory Default " settings before starting, And if required " Move the OSD to one side of the screen, Or it may end up under the Spyder window in the calibration process. Only now load the Spyder software, Do the usual restart and when the display has reached optimum running temp, Carry out the calibration.!!! Then in Device manager check that the monitor is correctly identified.!!! Here double check in the colour management section that the default profile has been loaded and is now the " Default " option. Make sure you have installed the latest " Monitor " driver ( Basically an " Inf File & ICC profile ). ![]() Make sure you installed the latest " Graphic Board " drivers.Ģ. This would suggest that your monitor drivers & inf files have not been loaded or installed correctly, If they had the message should not say Generic PnP monitor ( PnP is for Plug and Play ) That just means it will work when plugged in, But has no identity or default colour profile. Sorry, there was a problem opening the profile 'none' for display 'Generic PnP monitor'. ![]() ![]() As Kevin has suggested, Make sure your using the latest version of Datacolor software for your Spyder version. ![]()
